Know Before You Go
∙ This tour runs on four Thursdays: October 1, 8, 15, and 22, 2026.
∙ Meeting time is 9:20 AM, departure from Gwanghwamun is 9:30 AM, and return to Gwanghwamun is 3:20 PM. Times may vary depending on traffic conditions on the day.
∙ Each tour is limited to 15 participants. There is no minimum group size, and the tour runs regardless of the number of bookings.
∙ The tour is conducted in Korean and English.
∙ Lunch is not included. Free time for lunch is given at Bukhansanseong Village, and meals are at your own expense.
∙ The tour operates rain or shine.
∙ The program schedule and content are subject to change depending on Bukhansan National Park and local conditions.
∙ The included Downtown, Palaces & Namsan Course day ticket is valid only on the day of the tour. After returning to Gwanghwamun, you may board the 3:35, 4:00, 4:25, or 4:50 PM departures. Depending on the return time, the 3:35 PM bus may not be available.
∙ If the tour is changed or canceled, we will notify you individually via the mobile number or email address provided at booking.
- City & Nature Tour with Bukhansan National Park (approx. 6 hours, 9:20 AM–3:20 PM): dedicated bus between Gwanghwamun and Bukhansan, guided walk on the Bukhansanseong Valley barrier-free trail, rooftop observatory visit and commentary at the Eunpyeong History Hanok Museum
- Downtown, Palaces & Namsan Course (TOUR01) same-day ticket: valid for buses departing 3:35–4:50 PM after returning to Gwanghwamun (every 25 minutes)
- The tour is conducted in Korean and English
- Lunch and personal beverages are not included
It takes less than an hour to go from the heart of downtown Seoul to the forest trails of a national park. Created jointly by the Bukhansan National Park Office and Seoul City Tour Bus, this program takes you from Gwanghwamun to Bukhansan on the Korea National Park Service's eco-friendly electric bus, along the Bukhansanseong Valley barrier-free trail with a park interpreter, and on to Eunpyeong Hanok Village, a neighborhood of traditional Korean houses. Back at Gwanghwamun, finish the day aboard the double-decker with the included Downtown, Palaces & Namsan Course ticket.

Give the name on your reservation at the ticket booth. After confirmation, you will receive your same-day Downtown, Palaces & Namsan Course ticket. Please keep it safe, as you will use it in the afternoon.

The Bukhansan tour ends when you get off the bus.
- 8Ride the double-decker around downtown SeoulFrom 3:35 PM
Use the day ticket you received in the morning to board any bus departing after your return to Gwanghwamun (3:35, 4:00, 4:25, or 4:50 PM). A full loop takes about 90 minutes. There are no buses to re-board after the 4:50 PM last departure, so please keep this in mind if you get off along the way.
Know before you go
- The Gwanghwamun ticket booth is near the Gwanghwamun intersection, close to the Koreana Hotel (68-2 Taepyeongno 1-ga, Jung-gu, Seoul).
- It is about 100 m from Exit 6 of Gwanghwamun Station (Line 5), or a 300 m straight walk from Exit 3 of City Hall Station (Lines 1 and 2).
- Online booking is available until the day before your ride; on the day of travel you can buy a ticket at the Gwanghwamun ticket booth.
- If you booked online, just give your name to the booth staff — they will check your reservation and issue your boarding pass.
- Same-day online booking is not available.
Boarding information
- When boarding, simply show your boarding pass to the driver.
- Your boarding pass is valid for the whole day, so you can get on and off freely at any of the 15 stops.
- All seats are unreserved, first come first served. If no seats are left you will have to take the next vehicle, so we recommend arriving early.
- Buses run at approximately 25-minute intervals.
- Depending on reservations, traffic, and vehicle conditions, your tour may operate with an Open Top double-decker, Glass Top double-decker, or semi-open single-decker bus.
- Vehicle arrival times may be delayed due to protests, events, or traffic control.
Rules and regulations
- The child fare applies from 48 months old up to age 18. Under 48 months rides free — one per accompanying adult — with no seat provided.
- Coffee, drinks, and food may not be brought on board.
- Standing is not permitted on the upper deck of the open-top double-decker.
- Pets are not permitted on board.

- UV rays are strong, so it is recommended to prepare a hat, sunscreen, or sunglasses.

- It can be quite cold, so it's good to prepare a hat, outerwear, blanket, or hand warmers.
