Yes, the passengers can pay for tickets in dollars. However, the
change will be given in Korean won according to the calculated
exchange rate for the day. |

make reservations for specific date and seats? |

Currently it is not possible to make reservations for specific
dates and/ or seats on the bus. However buying a ticket in advance
is possible without appointing a specific date and/ or seats on the
buses. You can buy tickets in advance at any of the City Tour Bus
ticket booths. |
Q. This is my first
trip to Seoul. How can I use the Seoul City Tour Bus to make my visit better? |

If you do not have much time, 3 hours or less, then we recommend
you buy a Single Ride Ticket and take either the Downtown Course or
Palace tour course and take the entire course without getting off
your bus. If you have more than 3 hours, we recommend you to buy a
One Day Tour Ticket and see around the city at your own leisure. |
Q. Where should I get
on the tour bus in southern
Seoul (southern part of Hangang
river)? |

The Seoul City Tour Bus does not have stop in Southern Seoul
(southern part of Hangang river). Please come to the northern part
of Seoul and find the nearest Seoul City Tour Bus stop. The nearest
stop depends on where you are residing, however in many cases, the
Itaewon stop, across from Hamilton hotel, could be the nearest for
you. |
Q. How can I take
Seoul City tour Bus from Inchon International Airport? |

First, take a KAL limousine bus to City Hall to the Koreana
Hotel or take limousine bus no. 602 or 605 to Gwanghwamun Dongwha
DFS. There you will find Seoul City Tour Bus stop. Also you can get
10% off Seoul City Tour Bus tickets at the airport bus ticket booth,
located next to exit no. 2, 4, 9, 13) |
Q. When are the
palaces and museums closed? |

- Changdeokgung Palace, Deoksugung Palace, War Memorial of
Korea, National Museum of Korea, Unhyeongung are closed on Mondays
- Gyeongbokgung Palace, National Folk Museum, Namsangol Hanok
(traditional Korean house) Village, Changgyeonggung Palace, Jongmyo
are closed on Tuesdays. |

- All Seoul City Tour Buses have headsets and recorded
information in a variety of languages at each seat. Five languages;
Korean, English, Japanese, Chinese, and France, are available from
the headset. Passengers can also get an explanationabout each
attraction around each stop. In addition, English, Japanese or
Chinese speaking guides can accompanyyour tour.

Q. Is it possible for
Seoul City Tour Bus to provide group tourists with pick up
service at an appointed spot? |

Seoul city tour bus tour is scheduled like a shuttle bus, so it
is not possible to provide pick up service. Please come to the bus
stop to join a tour. |
Q. Is there a
guidebook for using the Seoul City Tour Bus? |

You can obtain a leaflet when you get on the bus. The leaflet
has information on accommodations and attractions around the bus
stops. |
Q. How many times can
I hop on and hop off the bus? |
|

Buy one day tour ticket and get on the bus and get off at any
stop as many times as you would like between 09:00 and 21:00. After
seeing around each attraction at your own leisure, simply get on the
next bus and keep touring the city. |
Q. How long does the
bus wait for passengers at each stop? |
|
|
If you get off at a stop, the tour bus departurs for the next
stop right away, and does not wait. Instead, you can catch another
bus, which comes every half hour to the bus stop where you got off
the previous tour bus. The bus for the Palace Tour Course comes
every hour during the winter season. |
Q. Can I get a guide
while I look around the attractions after getter off the bus? |

No. There are no guides available once getting off the tour bus.
You can look around the city attractions at your leisure, however,
many of the attractions have their own guides or offer programs with
guides for tourists as desicribed below: |

City Tour Bus does not in service? |

Seoul City Tour Buses are not in service on Mondays. The bus
operates on national holidays as well. If any national holiday falls
on a Monday, the bus will be in service. |

Q. Which course would
be better enjoy Seoul`s night-view? |

To enjoy a night-view of Seoul, the Downtown Course, which stops
at the Seoul Tower, would be preferable To take the Downtown Course,
take the Seoul City Tour Bus from Gwanghwamun that stops at 17:00,
17:30, 18:00, 18:30 or 19:00. There can be delays because of traffic
during rush hour. Therefore, to make your ride more enjoyable,
taking the bus during weekend evenings or national holidays would be
better to enjoy the night-view. |
