A new addition to the Seoul City Bus Tour is a double decker trip
covering Cheonggyecheon stream &palaces, giving tourists
ample opportunity to fully see the delights that Seoul has to offer.
The
trip commences at the front entrance to Dongwha Duty Free Shop in Gwanghwamun
(this can be reached by taking the subway to Exit 6 of Gwanghwamun Station on
line 5).
With the duration of the tour only taking an hour and forty
minutes to two hours, dependent on traffic, it is an excellent way of seeing
sights that otherwise one may be unable to in a regular trip. Departure times
for the bus are: 10:00 11:00 12:00 13:00 14:00 15:00 16:00 17:00
.
With the bus being available all year round, another advantage
is that night routes leave from the same departure point at 20:00. The routes taken at night are different to the day ones, but have
been deliberately designed with the intention of giving the visitor the best
views of Seoul after dark.
The double-decker bus has a large seating
capacity of 65, 12 seats downstairs and 53 upstairs, and prices for the round
trip are an excellent W 12000 for adults and W 8000 for students The night trip is similarly reasonably priced at W 10000 for
grown-ups and W 6000 for those still in further education. A group with 10 or
more people will receive a 10 per cent discount.
The bus comes with the
added features of a wheelchair slope and one wheelchair seat, a recorded tour
guide service in English, Korean, Japanese and Chinese and a very useful offer
of free onboard internet service for tour information search.
While
tickets are sold on a first-come-first-served basis, further enquiries can be
made by calling 02-777-6090.
Enjoy the trip!
we are sorry to turn off the lights of bridges because of energy saving.
